Former Tenant
Pros:
nice and safe neighborhood, spacious living and bedroom, close to restaurants/shops/park etc.
Cons:
Unfriendly and unresponsive landlord, he doesn’t even greet, utilities are old & apt not really maintained
Advice to owner:
Greet you tenants, invest some money in making basic renovations in units, keep hallway & outdoor area clean, overpriced use of washer/dryer that often does not work- 2working machines for 32 units?
Would be great to live here with some updates!

Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors are quiet, clean enough, big living room and bedroom, nice size closets and a lot of them. Management is laid back, but probably TOO laid back.
Cons:
Water pressure sucks, it’s so low. All of my screens have holes in them. The company that manages the building is SO slow to make any changes, you have to do everything yourself if you want it done. I don’t know even want to call them for anything since they’re useless. Not welcoming, not proactive, not helpful. They explained nothing to me, not even how to give the rent…. Although the apartment is decently clean, some parts are old and need to be updated but not going to happen. You have to go outside to get to the laundry which is annoying and the door doesn’t lock so it’s not really safe…
Advice to owner:
Actually meet your tenants and explain everything to them. Be helpful and responsive. Don’t take 2 months to do 1 simple request. Spend the money to update the outdated items (holes in screens, wood under the sink). Have more cleaning done and better extermination schedule in the summer.
