this is for 28 marine avenue, Superior Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Maintenance man keeps the building clean and manages the garbage.
Neighborhood is safe.
Super is a nice old man who is kind to all of the renters but he isn't around as much.
Cons:
Too many dogs, more dogs than people it seems. The building smells like dogs, dog piss and dog poop, sometimes you'll find dog excrement in the lobby. There is a man who lights his cigarette in the lobby every morning which management knows about the lobby will stink of cigarette smoke because of him. But they hired him to do construction so they let him get away with it. The construction! so much noise pollution, you will hear drilling and sawing most days when someone moves out which is very often! The turn over rate in this building is 1 year if not less, the last neighbors I had moved out before they made a year because they were so unhappy with the amount of things falling apart in their building. If you WFH have zoom calls and meetings you will eventually lose your job because of all of the noise. If you have any type of WFH job where you have to concentrate, you will not be able to do it because of the noise. Maintenance man is a closet racist, has a blue lives matter flag in the basement where he lives, he's an anti mask/anti Vax and peddles his beliefs to the renters when you get stuck speaking to him in the lobby. He does his job but also is not a moral person if you care about that kind of stuff. Dogs barking all day and sometimes at night, mostly because of the constructions going on, and during the 4th of July because of the fireworks, if you are not a dog person you will not be able to handle living in this building.
Advice to owner:
I have none.
