Worst Building I Have Ever Lived In
Former Tenant
Pros:
-The super is wonderful -The other tenants are friendly -The garbage is well maintained -The bedrooms are large
Cons:
I have been renting here for two years. The management company that maintains this building couldn't care less. During my first year renting here, we had no cooking gas for several months. On top of this, the heat and hot water are constantly out, especially during the winter months. This sometimes lasts for so long that the management company even brought hot plates for tenants. The craziest part about that was they expected the tenants to share and didn't even provide individual hot plates for each apartment. We have to constantly go to my in-laws to cook and shower because of this. This building is also roach infested like I have never seen before. I have never in my life had issues with bugs and now they are everywhere despite us having an exterminator coming in every month. He says that a lot of this has to do with the hot water heater being a huge issue. On top of this, I have had a leak in my apartment since September and the management company doesn't even call me back despite so many voicemails left. They promised that they would take care of it quickly in September and it is now January. So many of my items have been damaged as a result. Beware at all cost!

A Good Budget Place
Former Tenant
Pros:
- good amount of space for what you pay - mostly quiet building - apartments have great sunlight - nice view of the bridge depending where your windows face - exterminator came once a month, great guy - super was friendly - neighbors were friendly
Cons:
- roach infested no matter how many traps/times i had the exterminator come in - could see roaches in hallways - absolutely no cameras in the lobby or entrance - didn’t have gas for months, slow to fix - elevator breaks frequently in the summer (usually only down a day or two)
Advice to owner:
Please install cameras, especially in the lobby area.
