Quiet neighbors and neighborhood, lots of windows, good layout
Cons:
Could be cleaner, owners easier to reach

Not enough heating. Windows, ceilings leak when it rains really hard.. Super is unhelpful and inappropriate

Apartments at 1405-1409

Affordable rent, controlled
Cons:
Gas leaks due to old and u repaired stoves. No heat/hot water every morning. Heat often does not turn on until 10pm.
Very aggressive super who is unwilling to help or do the basic repairs needed to maintain the property. Negligent property owners.

Observe the building for critical repairs

Pros:
Three pros:
- cheap
- close to the subway
- area is generally quiet
Cons:
Too many to list. The owner ignores the building’s problems and tenant’s complaints. The garbage disposal is in front of the building where the first floor windows are. Plumbing is old so they won’t allow a dishwasher or a washer/dryer. Windows are old and drafty too, which is a big problem in the winter. The landlord fails to follow the city code for heating, no wonder they have this many violations.
Advice to owner:
Look after the building and listen to the tenant’s complaints!
