Bed bugs,mice and cockroaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
Try to take care of the problems
Cons:
They are heavily infested with bed bugs. I have lived there for 4 years and I was dealing with that problem constantly. They would always send someone to take care of it and I couldn’t complain but bed bugs would come back because they lived in other apartments and some people didn’t have problem with it and wouldn’t spray them. I didn’t have money to move and was stuck with this problem for years and would deal with mice problem occasionally too. My life there was miserable. The building was dirty on the top of all the misery.
Advice to owner:
To take better care of the building

Steadily declining since I moved in 15 years ago
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in building, elevator, live-in super.
Cons:
Management will only fix issues in apartments if court mandated, otherwise will only do the bare minimum to ensure they are covered legally and avoid liability. Roach infested building. It's their building now, just have to accept it. Neighbors are inconsiderate and uncivil in a variety of ways (use the laundry carts for their groceries, junk or dirty refuse ; smoke right outside the building's entrance so you walk into clouds of smoke on your way in / out and the smoke comes inside the common areas ; loud music late at night...) The building has become increasingly dirty over the years. The porter does the best he can but the residents are just too careless about hygiene.
Advice to owner:
Please do better.
