Good and bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super does try hard to keep the building nice and clean. Building has someone come spray for bugs once a month but you have to be home to let them in.
Cons:
Landlord sucks, rude and incompetent people who work in his office who have yelled at me for their own mistakes and flat out lied to get me to go away. If you need anything repaired that isn’t urgent (aka a violation they could be fined for) they will give you the run around until you give up. I have been waiting three month for work to be done, have been told twice that it was scheduled but no one ever showed up. They claim that there has been 3 months worth of urgent repairs needed so I have to wait....lies upon lies. It’s not a big building so you know when there is work being done. Larry who is the owner is never in the office and never returns calls but the incompetent office staff can’t do anything without his approval.
There is at least one person in the building who steals packages whenever the opportunity arises. There is only 1 camera in the lobby but it does not cover most of the mail boxes.
Advice to owner:
Hire better office staff
