It’s all a facade
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is relatively calm, lots of grocery stores to choose from within walking distance, close to both F and N lines.
Cons:
The “newly renovated” apartments in this old building are just a facade. Tiles installed on the kitchen floor and bathroom walls were installed quickly and with very low quality grouting which began to disintegrate with the first month of living here. I suspect the bathroom tiles will begin to fall off any moment now, and the kitchen tiles are already wobbly under my feet. The paint on the walls also peels off with the slightest friction.
Advice to owner:
When renovating apartments, please understand that tenants expect the renovations to stick, not to simply peel away within months of moving in.
