Former Tenant
Pros:
NOTHING. terrible, deceitful super. 1640 ocean prkwy the worst thing I've seen.
Cons:
EVERYTHING.
everyone should sue them! It’ crazy! inhumane attitude!

everything is old. crooked floor, terrible conditions, the superintendent doesn't do his job, but his apartment is gorgeous. periodically rusty water + water heating takes a very long time, about 5 minutes. the doors don't close because everything has a million layers of paint. They takes 2000$ for that garbage. Also laundry room is awful.
Advice to owner:
super should be fired

i generally like this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
i appreciate the amenities like an elevator, trash chute, and laundry room in basement. the super is very friendly. the new mail locker is very efficient. our apartment is very spacious. it is located nearby to stores and the F train
Cons:
some neighbors are sketchy and can be rude. the floors are extremely thin so you can hear everything going on upstairs and even downstairs. gets too hot in the winter even with the radiator off. theres one super managing 4 buildings so it's hard to get a response when he is so busy. (not his fault i'm sure) the buzzer doesn't currently work in our apartment. we have also had our packages stolen in the past

Management Company Not Compliant
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nice clean and spacious apartment units.
Cons:
Management not responsive to complaints, but miss a rent payment, they’ll call you everyday, all day.
Advice to owner:
Every tenant has a right to peaceful and quiet enjoyment in their space. When I contacted your management company about a noise compliant, they ignored me and were not cooperative.
