Heavenly apartments in prime location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments recently renovated Beautiful large windows everywhere Lots of space The owner is both exceptionally kind and very on top of needs.
Cons:
There’s no way to control the heat (which is included) so sometimes it can be a little too warm or not warm enough.

No advice at all!

Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is close to an express stop and there is a market across the street.
Cons:
The owner is very nosy and if you’re not on top of keeping all records of your payments, beware. The owner doesn’t give receipts nor rent statements. The owner also doesn’t give an official lease (just an agreement) which means your deposit doesn’t go into escrow.
Advice to owner:
Your tenants should be treated with respect and dignity. Without them renting from you, you wouldn’t have your pretty home in Bay Ridge/Dyker Heights nor paying your child’s school tuition. Ask yourself why there has been so much turnover in your building? The one thing in common to all those tenants is you.
