It's OK if you're on a budget
Former Tenant
Pros:
Renovated, clean, near subways and grocery. We were generally friendly with the landlord family. They were responsive when we needed something. However, the mother was difficult to deal with at times.
Cons:
Both upstairs and downstairs neighbors were always loud. There is no noise insulation in the building. The downstairs unit (basement) ended up being illegal. We had constant problems with water pressure being too low. It was cold in the winter. Garbage was stored in the courtyard where some windows faced. We did have a few roach problems in our kitchen.
Advice to owner:
Building needs better noise and heat insulation
