Managment company is a nightmare

Pros:
The units (that have been remodeled) are nice and cute. They have great pest control. The super takes care of the trash, and is generally a chill guy:
Cons:
The management is awful. They were really elusive about renewing our lease during Covid (even though we have never caused issues or been late on rent.) You can never get ahold of anyone. They returned our security deposit late. Super disorganized. I accidentally overpaid rent one month because of a mistake with logging auto payments and they refused to refund overpaid rent. Just generally really cold or rude about anything that needs fixed or issues.
Advice to owner:
Don’t wrongfully hold onto peoples money for rent they didn’t owe you: Answer the phone and emails in a timely manner about important things like lease renewals and repairs.
