Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice space for 1 bedroom in NYC
Cons:
So many things. The management doesn’t get back to you, they respond when they feel like. The building smells like cigarette smoke all the time. The tenants in the building have been living there for a long time and want everything be their way. If you are new you won’t be there long. They don’t want you to do anything without their approval and say so. The tenants act like they own the building, they turn off the water on you randomly and you are always the last to know information. Plumbing is terrible, the bathroom sink and the plumbing system is backed up, there was sewage water in the basement. The management is money hungry, they don’t care about your well-being there they just want to collect money When I first moved in they didn’t clean out the apartment, I had to wait 3 weeks after I signed the lease for the apartment to be cleaned out.
