Cheaper but get what you pay for..
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator in building that is always functioning, large apartment with plenty of space and closets
Cons:
Bugs and cockroaches problem when I moved in - had to spend nearly $100 on cleaning and bug control products to clear it up and maintain. The bathroom has several leaking issues that cause damage and is difficult and time consuming to fix. Any fixes done in the apt result in needing to clean my apt and floors from the mess left. The heating is way too hot and even with all windows open, people continue to sweat with shorts and tshirt on in the winter. Hot water will be shut off without notice or communication of timing. There are quite a few emergencies with water issues leading to unexpected shutting off of the water supply as well.
Advice to owner:
Hire better service/maintenance companies to do a correct quality job. Provide email communication or posted flyers when possible on timing of repairs.

Just don't bother
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartments are big
Cons:
maintenance is poor & management unresponsive.
Advice to owner:
take your responsibility to the renters who pay you a lot of $ more seriously & clean up this hot mess.
