A Former Tenant's Experience

Pros:
Washer/Dryer hook-up in unit is the only pro of this apartment.
Cons:
First and foremost, BED BUGS. The landlord was unresponsive for weeks when the issue was first brought to his attention, then became a hassle when we took matters into our own hands. Bugs were coming from the unit above, so the whole building is clearly infested. And you think he reported the issue to the city? Of course not. Never had such a problem with a landlord before; he was rude, dishonest, and unorganized - losing checks, changing building managers and superintendents without notifying tenants, and putting all the blame on a good tenant. He also ended up withholding our full security deposit for no justifiable reason, and went MIA any time we tried to call to discuss. He's a super shady scammer. It really made the last 6 months living there the biggest headache - the unit isn't nearly nice enough to make it worth dealing with, save yourself the trouble. The place is just being run into the ground.
