Royce Douglas turned this COOP into a dump
Former Tenant
Pros:
Most of the people and the super is great. You can tell that most people are blue collar and just mind their own business. The super is wonderful and responsive to your needs.
Cons:
Things that the building management is responsible for is terrible such as getting things worked on like leaks or pest control. They are completely unresponsive from the top of BPC. Royce Douglas is responsible to manage this building and he simple doesn't do his job. There's been a hole in the ceiling for a month and we can't get him on the phone or by email. If you have huge leaks or issues that would prevent you from living in the apartment, don't count on him as your contact from the management company or BPC in general.
Advice to owner:
Get a ticketing system that people can submit their issues so it's tracked. There's a runaround where no one takes responsibility and no one calls or emails anyone back.
