It is ok.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Responsive super. Generally clean. Very good neighbors and low noise. Convenient location to transportation and food. Good water pressure. Spacious rooms.
Cons:
Mice and roaches. Laundry not always available and priced too high for the sizes of the machines. Management is not that responsive and greedy. Elevators break down often and gets stuck with people in them. Every now and then there are no elevators available and have to take the stairs. Building is pretty old, it's expected for prewar.

Old but good enough
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Unit(s) is a good size - Super is very friendly and is very responsive - Building usually clean and quiet enough - Decent neighbors - Super convenient location / hub of activity - Neighborhood has plenty of shops, stores, and schools within very short walking distance - Multiple train and bus lines
Cons:
- Consistent Rodent/pest problems over the years - inconsistent with heat (usually during early winter season) - Outdated cabinetry and appliances - Units are very old
Advice to owner:
Have a more comprehensive approach to pest/rodent control. Update the units to fit a more modern aesthetics.

Not Parkslope, but livable
Former Tenant
Pros:
Friendly super, close to the bus & train
Cons:
Ugly awning, ugly paint in the hallways.
Advice to owner:
Freshen up lobby with lighter colored paint. Remove hideous awning from front of building.
