Avoid this building and avoid this management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
The noise was minimal most of the time because the unit faces away from the street and it’s close to a laundromat.
Cons:
The apartment was dirty upon move in (roaches in cabinets, grease all over the stove and cabinets and in the sink, nasty tub, etc.) The stairwell to get to the apartment is neglected, missing paint, and just extremely dirty with dust and dead bugs. The bathtub is rough/sharp and hurts your feet, and does not drain properly. There were numerous issues with heating during the winter that were impossible to get solved because the management office is literally only open for 16 hours a week. We had major flooding in the downstairs hallway to the apartment due to a broken radiator, and the landlord, management company, building owner, and maintenance guy were impossible to reach. The flooring and paint job are horrific and lazily done throughout the whole unit. Management is rude, and the maintenance guy scolded and swore at me when I called him over to assess mold or damage from the flood mentioned above. Overall a gross place.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your property instead of just doing the bare minimum.
