Apartment was ok, building not so much
Former Tenant
Pros:
Had garage parking attached to the building for an extra fee, laundry in building, elevators
Cons:
Loud neighbors, management was slow to respond, only one heater in a 2bd apartment, not a lot to do in the area if you don’t have kids or don’t like sports bars, 15 minute walk to trains

Avoid at all costs.
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment had a nice layout. The views from the fire escape outside of my window were pleasant.
Cons:
Everything else. It was a poorly maintained building in every way - dirty, unsafe, packages would regularly get stolen, there were problems with pests, things would break down in our apartment too often, etc. Management was frustrating and didn't communicate well.
Advice to owner:
Do better, plain and simple.

Disappointing, Poorly Maintained
Former Tenant
Pros:
I appreciate that there’s a tenant committee and obviously people who live here who are committed to improving their living situation. The neighbors are considerate and we have no noise issues.
Cons:
The management is a nightmare. The super is extremely unresponsive, and it takes an incredible amount of effort to receive the repairs you need (you won’t be let know when they’ll happen either- just be ready 24/7.) There are consistent pest issues, with roaches and bedbugs, and I’ve heard from other tenants that they end up paying out of pocket to deal with these problems rather than trust management. It’s very hard to get mail, and the mailboxes were severely compromised for at least six months- both in terms of keeping our mail private, and not injuring people or postal carriers in the process.

My apartment is adequate but always room for improvement
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, sufficient heat and hot water, location, tenant association, friendly super and porters. I personally have not had any real issues with things not being fixed in my apartment. I have only had to contact the office once when the super didn't show as scheduled. Management called the super and he came the next day.
Cons:
Thin walls and floors, lobby floors can use an upgrade, occasionally some 420 neighbors/guests smoke in the hallway/on the fire escapes at night, when neighbors slam doors it can be felt in adjacent apartments
Advice to owner:
Update some general areas, better landscaping on the outside

Do not move here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator, nothing else
Cons:
Everything!
I had leaking issues, and mold growing out of my walls. They charged to much for horrible housing and lazy supers
Advice to owner:
Lower your rent and fix the building! Pipes are leaking! It’s rodent infested! Stop being a slum lord!
