Nice quite neighborhood. Rude Landlord. Allows family to Harrass tenants.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quite neighborhood. Friendly neighbors. Close to Kings Plaza Mall. Grocery store and laundromat walking distance. 3 flights of steps. Updated bathroom and kitchen. 1.5 bathroom. Decent size rooms.
Cons:
Family members of property owner harasses tenants. Landlord is rude. Mice and roach infested. Always have to ask for heat to be turned on in winter. Sometimes the heat isn’t working for weeks at a time. When things are broken in the house, they get half fixed or not fixed at all. Parking comes with apartment but landlord tells you to move car out driveway when she feels like it. Street parking is hard to find. Doesn’t shovel or put salt down for snow makes tenants shovel.
Advice to owner:
Respect your tenants. Set boundaries for your family who come to the house often. Don’t allow them to harass your tenants.Take care of apartment repairs in timely fashion.Shovel and put salt down in winter to prevent law suits.Heat in winter is a necessity not a privilege.
