Landlord needs to act like a landlord

Pros:
•Good location (close to trains and restaurants)
•nice large Windows


Cons:
•Garbage management poor
•Lots of old mail still received at my address
•The Landlord takes forever (or never) to fix things
•The Landlord can be very hostile when she doesn’t get her way
•General building maintenance is poor
•Central air doesn’t work
•Intercom can’t buss guest in
•Landlord is bad at maintaining relationships with tenants and tenants from both the past and present have/had issues with her
Advice to owner:
The returns from being a landlord isn’t passive income, it’s very active in fact. If you want returns on investment without working, I suggest you consult your financial advisor and ask them what type of safe investment would allow you to do that but I’m afraid real estate is not be your thing
