Studio Apartment Review
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice new building with good amenities. My apartment has dealt with some issues but management has been fairly responsive and there is a live-in super. App to handle maintenance requests, remote key access, etc. Very clean.
Cons:
My apartment dealt with a ceiling leak from another unit that lasted, infrequently, for several months due to an issue with how the building was constructed. Management had issues figuring out the root cause although they were fairly responsive to such issues. Fairly expensive apartments as well.

Fantastic on-site maintenance team
Former Tenant
Pros:
The amenities work. Maintenance team is quick. Nice neighbors and neighborhood. The building itself is strong and seems well sealed off from pests, which is a huge plus. Stairs are are so clean, too!
Cons:
Units are tiny and way overpriced with additional costs tacked on to the rent. The building itself is strange: It seems like they were just trying to check off as many boxes as possible without considering how things would function for renters. This includes: odd decisions about door placement within the units themselves (which makes the cramped rooms feel even smaller); questionable open kitchens that take up almost the entire living space make it difficult to actually live in the apartments; less than optimal gym (the treadmills face blank walls and beep every 60s of use).
Advice to owner:
First-floor units (including gym): Please install window shades that can be lowered from the top (so that the bottom remains covered; this is for the safety of renters). Please fix the treadmills so they don't beep every 60 seconds. Also, please, please, please lower the volume of the arrival and departure beep on the elevator.

Newer the building the worse the service
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building is beautiful, love the huge terrace on my balcony, everything is new (also con)
Cons:
Utility bill is $300/month for me at a minumum. When I moved in they said nothing higher than $140. When I asked the property manager it took them 3 weeks to get the electrician out. At that point the electrician asked me if I had been taking a lot of showers (that could be the reason? ). Then he told me it was probably my rate. When I explained my rate (how costly the energy) is the same as my neighbors he just stopped responding. I have been locked out my door at least 8 times. One time it was for over an hour and the other time it took me 3 hours to get in at 11PM at night. We had to go through my neighbors door jump over the balcony and then drill my balcony door. Since they had ignored the problem for so long it took then more than 4 days to get the proper pieces so both my front door and balcony door were unlocked for 4 days. They won't respond and even when they do they always have excuse and always someone else fault. Also, don't believe that the garage will have spaces they been telling us since we moved in July 1st that the garage would be fully functional. It has a total of basically 15 spots. This place high on promises but low on commitment to service. Another neighbor had a leak in her ceiling and it took them forever to fix it. She had a hole in her ceiling for many days. Even though it is new the construction does not seem to be the best.
Advice to owner:
Figure out the doors and utilities. I have talked to some of your other residents who have had the same problem. We pay a lot of money over $4200 a month and the service you have given thus far has been piss poor.
