Landlords are awful
Former Tenant
Pros:
Other tenants are very nice and respectful.
Cons:
Ownership will not make any repairs to the apartments unless it’s an emergency. I had three open requests for up to 10 months before I moved out. Buzzer did not function, bathroom door was off the hinges, bathroom mirror cracked (all said they would be addressed before moving in). Packages would go missing if left for more than 24 hours, despite having cameras in the building management refused to help address the issue. Heat and hot water constantly had issues during the winter, at least 5 instances of there being no heat or hot water for close to 24 hours. Apartment is in a highly sought after area, and rent stabilized so landlords do not care about retaining tenants which I learned the hard way. If there’s better or equal options in the area choose the alternative.
Advice to owner:
Zach, Jay, and Eran, have some respect for your tenants you cowards.
