Former Tenant
Pros:
I did like that there was only 2 units in the building.
Cons:
There was not a lot of building upkeep no onsite super. Our property manager knew the electrical wires were crossed in our unit making one of the rooms not have heat. The electrician also made the property management aware of this and they didn’t address the problem. The apartment is located next to a freeway, so it’s loud with traffic going by all day and night, this also causes the apartment to shake. Lastly, our property manager was shady, she tried to change the lease terms even after we already agreed. She would say different things to each roommate and would not ever give a clear answer. She told us subletting was not allowed but we later found out that they did allow subletters in the building. It was just not very transparent business dealings.
Advice to owner:
Be more transparent and responsive to your tenants who are paying rent.

Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment came fully furnished and was nicely renovated. It also had an in-unit washer/dryer, which is always a plus!
Cons:
The Management Company was largely unresponsive and garbage management was not great.
Advice to owner:
Take tenant concerns more seriously.
