Something’s fishy here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location; modern design, if that’s your vibe
Cons:
Several things about this property feel illegal. Was very difficult to set up utilities due to unit being unregistered; basement unit was not up to legal code; had an electric bill that clearly included building electric (not just unit but hallways, etc)

Slum lord building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nothing. Do not move in to this building. Look up Deodat Lowtan online.
Cons:
Everything. Illegal gas lines, filthy halls, verbally abusive to us on multiple times. Our power was shut off even though we were paying bills. Found out through ConEd that Rupert had illegally linked up our unit to another in the building. Makes you drop off a check in a mail box in bushwick but doesn’t cash for months on end. Rupert is a slumlord of bushwick.
Advice to owner:
Leave town! You are everything that is wrong with this city.

Terrible and unsafe
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location at heart of Bushwick
Cons:
Massive mouse problem. Building nearly collapsed during rainstorm. Very dirty. Intercom never worked. Fire code violations.
Advice to owner:
Give a shit
