Pros:
Nice roof Decent appliances Surprisingly quiet despite being right next to the subway
Cons:
Thin walls/ poor insulation within the building. Even though we were right next to a very active subway station, the upstairs neighbors still complained about the volume of our music during day/evening hours.
Door to building was often open due to traffic in/out of building & the fact the if one did not purposefully latch door, it did not close on its own. For this reason the building is not secure, and often smells of urine right inside the door.
Mailboxes always left open. If mail arrived at all, mail. It was often strewn about the floor (where uninvited visitors urinated due to often open front door) so impossible to count on secure mail or package delivery
Advice to owner:
Get a proper lock on door to building for security. Fix mailboxes so they can be utilized. Add a camera near mailboxes to prevent vagrants from urinating in the ‘foyer’ & to prevent theft of mail/packages.
