Horrible place to live - Run down
Former Tenant
Pros:
its not a big building, so there aren't many neighbors
Cons:
Mice roaches no hot water for months No heat in winter ppl are constantly on the fire escapes that don't live here The super lies and never fixes anything, they will bring a junkie to patch things up Mold mold mold and they never get rid of it instead they just paint over it. You will have mushrooms growing out of you wall constantly. I was personally sick and coughing the whole time I lived there. They don't even prove you mesh for the windows, knobs for the stove, or anything. ppl playing super loud music They steal, I personally no longer have anything come here b/c it wont be there once you go to retrieve. lots of mailbox breakins and they take about a month to fix it No locks on the front door to enter the building and anyone can come into the bldg. It's just not safe they dont paint or they will throw on coat of white paint when you walls are gray. Its like living in a homeless shelter or trap house everything is outdated leaking ceilings falling down and takes months to fix, bc the landlord doesn't want to spend the money too fix anything you will have to buy an electric heater or you will be freezing in there
Advice to owner:
Fix things and have your tenants in liveable condition. Stop sending junkies to do odd jobs. Fire the super. Provide hot water and more water pressure. Provide heat.
