Good place to live for a rent stabilized apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is nice and clean. Supers have changed a few times, but all of them have been pretty responsive. There are nice amenities and the location is very convenient.
Cons:
The walls are kind of thin. Also because this apartment is over a bar depending on where your apartment is facing it can be pretty noisy on the weekends. Our apartment did not have any windows in the living room, so during the summer time it was very hot.

Excellent Williamsburg Location
Former Tenant
Pros:
In building laundry, elevator, rooftop patio with view of Manhattan, close to L and G trains
Cons:
Video intercom sometimes doesn’t work correctly, not enough washers and dryers for the size of the building
Advice to owner:
Expand the laundry room. The new machines are wonderful, but we need more. Nobody uses the folding table, get rid of it and put in more machines.

Not a bad place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location for Manhattan commute. Beautiful apartments.
Cons:
The basement would literally flux whenever it rained. Packages everywhere in the hallway.

Horribly missmanaged
Former Tenant
Pros:
Prime Williamsburg, Beautifully renovated Loft Apartments
Cons:
Mngmt does not care about anything at all. Broken entry door, emergency exit door for months now. Trash on the common space Rooftop is not being collected. Nothing is being fixed. Gym is not usable for months. Washing and drying is horrible bc most machines do not work properly and are not being replace or fixed for years now.
Advice to owner:
Find another managment company asap and do go with the cheapest option. Long term benefits will thank you.

Nice building horrible insulation
Former Tenant
Pros:
High ceilings, clean common areas, great roof
Cons:
Electric bill was insane in winter (up to 600$/month). Could hear ground floor conversations from 4 floors up
Advice to owner:
New windows and should have offered discount to renew lease for covid

Building is so good you don’t care the manager sucks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Gorgeous building, truly the most amazing roof in Brooklyn, apartments have incredible loft storage. Perfect location
Cons:
Building manager literally never answers his emails. If you have any problems, text the super directly, he is the one holding that building together and is very responsive

Great building but freezing in winter
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean and well-maintained rooftop and gym Large apartments Super and maintenance crew are great
Cons:
The electric bill for heat is out of control in the winter— $500+ a month, and that’s with only heating two rooms. The rest of the apartment is freezing. Have never experienced electric bills this high, even when I lived in a much larger apartment.
Advice to owner:
Fix insulation or install a better heating system. Everything else is great.
