serious safety concerns and thin walls
Former Tenant
Pros:
Well maintained building
Cons:
1. there a people covering their faces/hiding their identity and dealing drugs openly on the street RIGHT OUTSIDE my bedroom/living room window - I DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL
2. the walls are very thin and there’s no privacy between units. you’re living with your neighbors
Simply don’t do it to yourself it’s not worth the money at all.
Advice to owner:
Get armed security guards

A total fraud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, view from roof, quality appliances
Cons:
Fraudulently advertised the building as having live-in super and 24 hour doorman, poorly built, management is unresponsive/ slow

Wide gap between what is advertised as and reality
Former Tenant
Pros:
Some of the folks that work in the building are great.
Cons:
-Very poor quality construction for any building much less "luxury building" - crooked door handles, leaks, appliances that don't work, a ludicrously bad heating system. -Amenities took months to open, still no parking -Building management that can go silent on issues for weeks
Advice to owner:
You need much lower rent terms going forward, or everyone will move out and reviews like this will continue to ensure people don't move in.

Already falling apart
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is great, the neighbors living in the building are all really nice, my apartment gets good sunlight
Cons:
This building already has so many problems and it’s not even finished yet. It’s clear everything is caused by the management company being cheap and shady- the heating/ ac units break down, the lights go out, there are leaks, they are still doing major construction in the basement that is incredibly loud- I could go on- and management (Galil Management- Joel Goldstein) is unresponsive when you contact them. They outright ignore your emails and phone calls. Don’t live here.
Advice to owner:
Develop a conscience? They know exactly what they’re doing and they don’t care. My advice to prospective tenants is to either not live here or negotiate for much cheaper rent.
Management is the absolute worst. They do not reply to any emails or calls. My unit was a mess when I moved in and I was never given a proper walk through. I had leaks, water damage, a washing machine almost fell on me, scratches and paint marks all over the unit, a coffee ring stain in the bathroom floor, so much more. Basically lived in an active construction unit for the first 5 months because the building wasn’t completed nor were the occupied units. Management never gave notice about needing entry and would show up at my door harassing me to get in. The building is so poorly constructed and the walls are ridiculously thin. I can hear all my neighbors on my floor, every sound they make from locking and unlocking their doors, to running water, talking, barking, etc. Management allowed tenants to live in the property without having a TCO and then let the TCO–that they did eventually get–expire. Management lost my security deposit that I handed over to them in person and tried to collect a second security deposit, which is illegal in NYC. Avoid this building! They are money grabbers and scammers. Not to mention, they rented me a housing lottery apartment at market value.
Advice to owner:
The least you could do is respond to emails and calls.
