It's okay here but it could be better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lived in this building my entire life. There has been good changes such as elevator repairs and repainting of hallways of doors/walls. Free maintenance with leaks. There is a 24/7 line to call for security complaints. And security downstairs. Holiday parties for children during Halloween and location is convenient to subway stations/buses and food.
Cons:
There is always some sort of construction noise going on in the building. Whether that is sourced from a neighbor moving furniture, or maintence fixing the roof, apartment or elevator, everything is echoed. Not to mention there is much noise outside in the street (jack hammer, cars honking, car alarms going off, large trucks drudging w their loud exhaustion noise)
Advice to owner:
During one of the most recent renovations, one of the floors (20th floor) in my building, the hallway decorations were torn down and haplessly discarded. This was not only extremely rude, but was done without the permission and consent of the people who had paid to put up a personalized bricky overlayed mirror. Since it has been destroyed, one of the people on the floor who I talked to, and have paid $$ to have that mirror put up have expressed her sadness and dismay that something so precious was torn down. She has been a resident of this building more close to 30+ years.

I hope in the future if there are any renovations done to the building, there is a more THOUGHTFUL and careful process.
