Honestly not bad
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management was a little aloof but not malicious which in New York isn’t always a guarantee
Cons:
Sometimes it was difficult to get a response from management but nothing egregious ever happened
Advice to owner:
Could be a little quicker to respond

First renters, left a sht show
Former Tenant
Pros:
Top floor so we had good sunlight, that's about it
Cons:
Building management was absolutely horrible. We moved into I think 4A, I can't remember, in 2018 and we're the first people to live there, the four of us thought it was great but it was clearly a fast and cheap build. Things were immediately breaking, water spots from the roof above and we have so many issues with the roof itself and how long it took them to finish. The building management was horrible, the neighbors were loud, stuff was always getting stolen, we lasted two years and I don't know how we did looking back. Run.

It does the job
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Space
- Amenities
- Distance to subways (M, L)
Cons:
- Thin walls
- Thieves living in the building
- Greedy, uncaring management company
Advice to owner:
They pretty much leave you alone. If you're looking for help, however, you will be hard-pressed to get it - unless it threatens their bottom line. There have been numerous reports of theft in the complex that management chooses to keep out of. You do get an ample amount of space and great facilities though.

It’s ok. But not worth it
Former Tenant
Pros:
Easy access to the subway.
New appliances.
Multi supermarkets in the neighborhood.
Great small businesses in the neighborhood.
Cons:
The neighbors are very loud and have extremely loud parties. When complained about the noise the building management didn’t help. The building had two floods in a year. A pipe burst twice. No compensation was given to anyone affected. Rugs, furniture damaged twice.
Advice to owner:
No rent reductions during covid.

Decent management, nothing special
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building maintenance is efficient when with repair requests.
Cons:
Package theft common in the building

Really solid place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
My unit has two outdoor balconies and gorgeous rooftop access (with huge space, couches, a grill, a fridge, and sink) AND a small courtyard. It’s truly a blessing to have so much outdoor access. The apartment gets tons of natural light and we usually leave the lights off all day because the windows are huge. It feels clean and new and the rooms are all pretty good sizes. Windows are REALLY soundproof. We live on the 4th floor directly next to the train and if the window is closed you can hardly hear it pass. Virtual doorman is a really great feature too. And of course the central air and heat that we can control the temperature of ja amazing. I’m always excited to bring people over and show off the space because it’s so nice. Always feel comfortable and safe here.
Cons:
Management is sometimes difficult to communicate with, sometimes hard to see eye to eye with them, but overall they’re pretty responsive and helpful most of the time. Though the building is beautiful, there are some sloppy design features and cheaply made aspects. You can’t see it, but after living in the space for some time, it’s clear to see where they cut corners and tried to cover it up with aesthetics. Packages are prone to getting stolen because the mail area is directly in view of the front door. Appliances can be unreliable but has not been too much of an issue.
Advice to owner:
More flexibility with tenants when issues or charges come up (I was charged $100 to have someone open my door when I was locked out in an emergency- we have keycards so it wasn’t even a locksmith involved. They tapped the door open and left). Also lower the rent, it’s a pandemic!
