Nice place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
- landlord is responsive and cares - nice community - enthusiastic super - huge units
Cons:
- crazy bugs in basement - one laundry unit that’s essentially in an infested closet
Advice to owner:
Invest in pest control please, and more laundry machines. Close the creepy sewer hole.

Okay, but could be better
Former Tenant
Pros:
Easy to keep to yourself. Rental units are large.
Cons:
Cockroaches and mice on the regular. Doesn’t matter how clean you are. Super just says, “what do you expect, it’s NY”. The management company doesn’t put money in for updates or repairs, only when a unit is unoccupied. But with cheap materials. There’s been a constant leak in a shared hall. Laundry is only 1 machine for everyone to share. And the room is infested with roaches. (We haven’t used it for years.) they claim they’re setting up more machines, but we haven’t seen any progress in that. “Security” cameras have been set up do to stolen packages, but the cameras don’t even record.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants! And do some updates to the shared spaces. We need a night attendant that actually is here, like we had in the past.
