The worst Landlord you could find in NYC
Former Tenant
Pros:
The property it’s pretty big for Bushwick
Cons:
The landlord was literally psychotic. Her name is Jennifer Sinclair.
Literally on the first week living there me and my roommate asked her to check the water heater because the water was not hot enough and we wound run out of hot water mid showers to what she responded simply saying that “the water was hot enough” and ended up calling the cops on me because I was “harassing her” - FOR ASKING FOR HOT WATER while she was INSIDE my apartment. Not only that, after the event we spoke to her like trying to amend things and she even admitted she usually feels attacked and that she was feeling hangry -completely unprofessional!-

She would reject and feel attacked by emails saying that it was too formal but then would get confrontational and non-sense when having a real life conversation. A person with serious paranoia issues.

She lives in the property with her daughter and son and the daughter is pretty much as crazy.

I have a video of the daughter stealing a package from my front porch that she denied to my face and on text she had received. I never followed through with authorities because I didn’t want to waste my time and energy on such awful people that I only hope I never see ever again in my life!

They made me feel unsafe and nervous for months! And as cherry on top! She tried to kicked me out last June in the middle of COVID lockdown. I had to even call the cops to be safe and let them know what was happening because she had tried to come into the apartment by herself without notice or my permission.
Advice to owner:
You should stop renting your place if you don’t want to be a responsible landlord.
