Old building, big windows, big rooms.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rent stabilized, large windows, large bedrooms, two bathrooms, free bug spraying, reliable heat/hot water.
Cons:
Old and creaky, upstairs footsteps ALWAYS audible, heat in some rooms had terrible banging noises, water would get BOILING hot and was hard to tweak. Management once tried to not offer us a renewal lease, had to inform them that is literally illegal in a rent stabilized apartment. They eventually backed down, but it was a stressful ordeal.
Advice to owner:
Get some darn insulation in the ceilings.
