Horrible Management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighborhood, bars, close to subways, good storage. Good sized rooms.
Cons:
Management never fixes anything, intercom doesn’t work and management refused to fix it. Management raised rent 20% every year. Bad appliances, tiny kitchen. Common spaces are not maintained or cleaned. Rats infesting the exterior facade of building. Spotty electric current — lights flicker intermittently.
Advice to owner:
Align the price of the unit with its actual current state.

Worst property management company
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice apartment, building clean
Cons:
Property management company is not responsive and is dishonest. Had a flood that destroyed half of our apartment and it was unliveable and they refused to prorate rent. They sent people who lied about who they were and fought with us until we came to an agreement that they would give us our deposit if we moved out within 2 weeks. It is also rent stabilized and they had been raising the rent too much every year
Advice to owner:
Be honest, be responsive
