Great location, building is fine
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, elevator, in unit laundry, dishwasher, spacious units, no issue with pests, responsive mgmt, lots of light despite N facing, rooftop with views of Manhattan
Cons:
In general seems like it was designed by someone who has never lived in a building before. Strange angular rooms which make hanging drapes and fitting furniture difficult. Windows are not standard sizes and are not well insulated. While mgmt is generally responsive to tickets, they don’t adequately and/or quickly address issues. We’ve had issues with leaks and mold that were not addressed with any urgency. No preventive maintenance on appliances. Multiple neighbors water heaters have exploded causing floods.

Overall good building, noisy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good building with heat and air conditioning. Rarely need to turn on AC/heat. Appliances are good quality. Landlord/super are responsive.
Cons:
Lots of noise between apartments and hallways. Management company raised my rent a lot post-COVID even though I had been a tenant for 2 years.
