Avoid at all costs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Above a nice Italian restaurant. That’s the only perk
Cons:
Everything went wrong with this apartment and the landlord Sam is incredibly irresponsible, unresponsive, and a downright liar. We went multiple weeks throughout the winter without heat and received no discount on rent or help. He shorted us on our security deposit and claimed that there were damages when we left the place in better conditions than we found it in. On multiple occasions we reached out about issues and they were never fixed, leaving us to do the repair work ourselves and on our own dime (including patching a leak in the roof). Place was infested with creatures from roaches to mice to creatures in the walls.
Advice to owner:

very bad landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
nice neighborhood, charm of old building
Cons:
we literally didn’t have heat the entire winter and landlord refused to do any real fixes and then had to threaten with lawyer in order to get our security deposit
