All good so far, 1 year in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great sound proofing between units.
Good air quality in the building.
Fairly efficient heating and cooling
Double paned windows do as good of a job as possible with the street noise.
No issues with packages so far.
Cons:
Gym is musty smelling. If you expect to use this everyday, I'd reconsider. It's pretty small anyways.

So f*cking loud
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building, clean no bugs or nice at all.
Cons:
Knickerbocker Ave is the loudest street ever.
Super loud car stereos at all hours of the day. Police, fire and ambulance sirens all of the time.

Don’t get an apartment on the knickerbocker side of the building the off street side is the place to be.

Oh also in the last month 2x people got stabbed across the street in broad day light and one person got shot just up the street on dekalb.
Advice to owner:
Petition the city for a no cruising and loud music down this street. I’ve seen it done in other cites. The cops would make so much money sitting in one spot anywhere on this street during the weekend ticketing almost every car that goes by for a loud stereo.
