Landlord sucks, packages stolen, basement floods when it rains heavily
Former Tenant
Pros:
In unit washer and dryer (but not covered by landlord if it breaks)

Spacious for price
Cons:
Landlord not helpful or responsive. We submitted a complaint about a broken fixture when we moved in and never got it fixed until the next tenant what about to move in.

Lots of bugs (spiders, house centipedes, cockroaches, random other bugs)

Heavy rains cause flooding in the basement like once a year (or ceiling damage if you're on a upper floor). Not to mention the mold afterwards and the landlord wiping it off with a wet wipe think that will be enough to solve it.

Great apartment, mediocre super
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartment is great. It's incredibly quiet and the appliances are all new and work well.
Cons:
The building itself is poorly managed. The super is pretty unresponsive. We've had our hot water stop working several times, always to be fixed within a day or so, but the problem persists. The hallway and entranceway are rarely cleaned by management.

Good building, unresponsive building manager
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great building and apartment. Very quite.
Cons:
Building manager is not super responsive. Often won't reply and then shows up ready to fix something without scheduling.

Good building and nice apartment if the cleaning man didn’t lazy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Inside
1. There is a washing machine with a dryer in our apt, it has broken and we payed the fees, landlord told us he didn’t have any washing machine, well, payed a washing machine fix fee and get an 20 yrs old machine, our proud.
2. There is also a dying microwave, refrigerator and AC.
3. OMG, the best thing is the dish washer, but please forget its smell.

Outside
1. If you want to throw out your garbage, please choose a perfect date which the cleaner just finished cleaning the garbage area, he came here not very often, garbage area always full and dirty.
(Not sure why the current cleaning man is so lazy after the beginning of 2022, Might be the landlord changed cleaning man at that time. The previous cleaning man was so nice and keep everything clean and tidy, but the current cleaning man is so useless and totally opposite! Even a lot of flys and pest in and out this building in summertime. Really missing the pervious cleaning man!)
Cons:
Landlord doesn’t like to pay the electricity bill for the common areas, it may related common area lighting, AC and security door of the entrance.
He is always offline when you urgent to catch him, unless he didn’t get your rent check.
He doesn’t like reply msgs and pick up phone calls, unless you use a new phone number he didn’t know.
Please learn some skills before you move here to keep your quality of life.

Roaches, AC doesn't work
Former Tenant
Pros:

Cons:

-AC doesn’t work well, and it’s crazy hot in summer inside the room. I had to keep the windows open all the time.
-Not responsive landlord even though things are not working.
-hot water didn't work well sometimes
-intense direct sunlight in the early morning. I couldn't sleep without the curtain
-package stoled many times

Poor owner response/management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in unit
Cons:
Trash management, packages constantly got stolen, AC not working and plumbing problem keeps reoccured. Called landlord but they just came check and never really fixed the problem
Advice to owner:
Deal with problems by calling professionals!! Not dealing it by yourself. Invest!
