Run down newer building
Former Tenant
Pros:
- doorman - gym - views - location to train
Cons:
- break ins from street - lack of common space upkeep - maintenance is deferred until situation is dire
Look up reviews on Yelp and Google for Werber Management.
The elevator went out of service with no warning. Due to their maintenance neglect, it will take months to fix.
The super left the same day the elevator went out. There was no notice given for either event. There are pregnant women, elderly being forced to walk up 12 flights of stairs.
The views, neighbors, design are great, but they come with a price.
Think twice about moving into this building. There is a reason turnover is so high.

Bad Elevator A Huge Con
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in unit, dishwasher, proximity to subway, good neighborhood, really nice doormen
Cons:
The building has some bargain brand elevator that will routinely go out of service. At the time of this review the elevator has been out for two weeks and building management has advised it would be out for a further 6-8 weeks while they "repair" it. This elevator (which is the building's only one) has been a persistent issue for the last few YEARS and yet building management has been too cheap to fix it before now.
Advice to owner:
Fix the elevator!

Lovely building in Fab location
Former Tenant
Pros:
Excellent staff, great apartments and concerns are dealt with immediately!! (Plumbing, electric, appliances, etc). Excellent location to enjoy Park Slope and Gowanus as well as Carroll Gardens!
Cons:
This building is nicely maintained and overall very clean, but lobby hallways and entrances need update! Wall paper peeling and floorboards are dirty. Truly an age problem more than lack of care. BIG CON~AC units are not good for building. Summer can cost over $500/mo.
Advice to owner:
Replace air conditioners

Great building, no complaints
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean. Small but very nice gym. Amazing live-in super. Doorman. Mail room.
Cons:
People who live in the building next door are crazy but they only have an issue with you if you leave stuff out on the street
