Inconsistent Managed Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient parking, laundry in the building, gym.
Cons:
In the short time I’ve been here we’ve had 10 different contacts for management. We were all paying different rent even though the building is partially funded by the government, which means they get money from the government. The super is hard to find and management leaves tasks for him to do. Packages are often stolen and management refuses to come up with alternate solution. Gym is always flooded as well as some apartments on the first floor.
Advice to owner:
Respond to tenants, get someone to help super clean, take out the trash/recycling, snow removal in the winter. The super is one person and can’t do it alone. Fix the issue with packages being stolen. It’s not enough to just have a camera. Create a room with a key that only mail people and tenants have access to. Fix issue with flooding.
