Loved our experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
It's centrally located and the double entrances are very convenient. We never had any issues with management, they were accommodating and timely.
Cons:
It feels older/more wear and tear than some of the other buildings in the area. Our refrigerator had a random part that was just sitting on the shelf and one of the lights under the cabinet kept coming off. Maintenance was always great about fixing but it did happen more than once.

Small roach problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Wonderful location close to train and quick access to grocery stores
Cons:
I had roaches a number of times through my 3 years living there. They would typically come during the summer
Advice to owner:
Ongoing maintenance

Nice but pricy
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, quiet, doormen and staff very very helpful. Never had issues with neighbors or problem with the apartment that wasn’t immediately addressed.
Cons:
Price hikes are ridiculous. Only 1 elevator serves the Subcellar for laundry in each tower. Agonizing if you live on a higher floor.

Will not renew after 2 years (due to rent costs)
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful apartments with nice layouts and spacious bedrooms. My apartment gets a lot of light and, despite, the construction, when the windows are closed, it's nice and quiet. Filtered water in the fridge, washer and dryer in my unit.
Extremely convenient to the A/C/G/2/3/4/5//B/Q/R trains.
NYPD located beneath building but they're always on their phones.
Cons:
Difficult to retrieve a package in this building. Some of the concierge team is willing to do it with no issues. A few of them will make excuses as to why they can't get your package or will begrudgingly do it making you feel like you're putting them out of their way. Laziness. Come up with a better system. Major fail here.
One member of the concierge team seems to have psychotic episodes over retrieving packages.
There have also been some racist remarks made toward asian tenants - unacceptable.
Outdoor courtyard has been under construction for over 2 years. While it is open, there is a sign placed to deter tenants from using it.
Advice to owner:
Lower the rent. Come up with a better package system. Fix the outdoor courtyard.

Well managed but moving is very difficult
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff are generally very friendly and run nice community events. Easy access. Apartments more spacious than many others and well maintained.
Cons:
Move-in/out is through parking garage under the building - very difficult for moving furniture up/down ramp. Deductions from deposit on move-out seemed picky given usual wear and tear / higher than have experienced from many other managements.
Advice to owner:
Consider better coordination with parking garage for freight elevator use to reduce move stress.

Cheap building, but crap amenities and shitty ownership
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap, big apartments, nice bathrooms
Cons:
Management sucks, things break all the time, there is a food stamps building next door that has rift raft all over. Unsafe
Advice to owner:
Stop the construction

Stay away worst apartment building terrible management
Former Tenant
Pros:
The only upside is the doormen and the building maintenance team are amazing they are hard working and amazing people.
Cons:
Stay away! I have been living here for a year and the building is constantly under construction in all areas of the building, and it’s non stop. On top of this I haven’t had constant heat in my apartment for a year I have written so many emails to the building management, with lack of caring about my situation or response to my emails and calls. Also had other issues on too of these too many to name. There is so many options right now, this building is not worth it if management doesn’t care about it’s current tenants not having heat and ignoring the requests to discuss how to deal with it.
Advice to owner:
Stop avoiding your tenants issues and answer emails.
