Decent place to live in bushwick
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in the building was great though machines could be maintained better. Door people are incredible and the super is amazing!!
Cons:
Management takes a while to respond. Elevators out of service sometimes. Laundry machines need to be better maintained

You're on your own
Former Tenant
Pros:
24hr security (they do occasionally try to take that away but we have fought back), sound muffling windows.
Cons:
Elevators are constantly breaking with tenants getting trapped inside, laundry room is unsanitary, equipment is damaged and out of date, they're overcharging for laundry. "Amenities" are laughable, gym is falling apart and has harmed tenants, it is also unsanitary. The rooftop is dangerous and outdated, management has essentially told us we aren't supposed to be up there even though there is a rec room and tables etc on the roof. Rec room is also in decay. Management is unresponsive to tenants complaints, they often just ignore emails from tenants and even when we organize as a group to collectively demand changes, they refuse to acknowledge. Rent is raised every year and no significant changes are made to improve the quality of life.
Advice to owner:
Take care of your building and your tenants, stop raising the rent without improving the quality of life.

Clean and safe!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Really great size common area (in a shared 3 bedroom) with lots of light. Clean with decent closet space. Door people are amazing and super helpful for receiving packages/answering questions.
Cons:
In building laundry is not great/pretty unreliable. Bedrooms could be bigger.

Overall Nice Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff is very nice, apartment good size, building clean , nice roof access
Cons:
Slow response from building management, washer/ dryers issues from time to time. Train is very close to building can cause noise If your windows are open. Rent price increased a lot post covid deals
Advice to owner:
Be aware of dryer issues and be a bit more responsive when tenants have questions.

not the worst but there's definite room for improvement
Former Tenant
Pros:
Front desk attendant 24/7 Friendly and helpful building staff Convenient location Elevator Rooftop Access Safe package handling/storage Central heat/AC Pet friendly
Cons:
Unresponsive management Laundry machines don't work well/unusable in my opinion so I have to take laundry outside of the building Understaffed maintenance crew Poor ventilation/air filtration - apartments get very humid in the summer "amenities" not well maintained Bike storage is crowded, uncovered and has rats - management has not addressed Small windows No return air vent/fan over the oven/stoves Utilities are expensive and tenants pay for both Gas and Electric Cheap finishes
Advice to owner:
Hire more staff to support the super Get new, working, updated laundry machines Clear out bike storage Get new gym equipment Figure out a better ventilation system or better maintain the current one Be more responsive to tenants

Nice for bushwick!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Central air conditioning and heating Front desk personnel are super nice Unlike most of NYC and bushwick I have had zero rat, cockroach, or bug problems Small basic gym and laundry in building Rooftop is really nice during summer Building kept clean Option to pay for a parking spot in the back of the building Kai management was slow to respond BUT this was during the first few months of COVID, I’m sure a very high traffic time for them. They were also very nice and listened to our concerns and thoughts!
Cons:
Building walls a little thin. sometimes can hear things going on outside, but it is what it is! Overall pretty good!
Advice to owner:
Keep up the good work. Though would love a quicker response time.
