Beautiful & Deceptive
Former Tenant
Pros:
New construction
Nice floors and appliances
Near ample amount of transportation
Sound resistant windows
Patio or access to outdoor space
Rent stabilized
Cons:
Communication with the super is difficult (language barrier)
Takes forever to fix an issue
Garbage situation is undesirable (have to place trash in the basement & throw out food garbage on Tuesday & Thursday only)
Rarely cleans the building
Has to complain several time’s to get something done

It is a beautiful apartment building. Which is why I moved in. But as I love here I realized there are a few things that do not work. For example, the halls are rarely swept. It took 4 months to get a mail box key. The garbage used to be outside and it had the worst smell. Plus the superior rarely emptied the whole bin. Since the building received many citations, they removed the outside bins and placed it in the basement. Even though the windows are side resistant, this is a very noise area with a lot of foot and street traffic.
Advice to owner:
Be more responsible & attentive to property & tenants
