great people, not so great property management
Former Tenant
Pros:
-the door people -the gym -the windows -the washing machines were quickly fixed
Cons:
-the management company; not easy to work with, and the lease requires 2 months of showings prior to lease ending, which is wild -the grocery store is close, but now it's super expensive and not as good as it was 3 years ago :(

Buidling is nice; Management is AWFUL
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff that works onsite (super, door personnel, cleaning, etc) do their jobs very well and are so kind and responsive. Packages are easy, maintenance requests are attended, decent gym, and beautiful rooftop.
Cons:
Smart Management is HORRIBLE. They will try to scam you at every corner making up random fees on the spot that are NOWHERE in writing. They do not provide access to a balance sheet and ignore every form of written communication in favor of phone calls so that they can more easily try to charge you extra fees.
Advice to owner:
STOP SCAMMING YOUR RESIDENTS

Overall a really nice building with a few drawbacks
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great apartment building with lots of amenities and friendly front desk staff. Apartment feels high quality. Management is responsive and helpful.
Cons:
The ventilation in our apartment sucks and there's a slight bug problem (although management is very responsive if you submit requests for an exterminator).
