Great Building w/ Friendly People
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great team of doormen and handymen taking care of everything across the building with a smile on their face; reasonable building management with dedicated manager on site
Cons:
Noise of the highway for some apartments

Great staff, nice building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nice and helpful staff, building is clean, no issues with water, cheap parking, no pest issues. Roof is nice and hardly used. Always an open grill to use.
Cons:
Current leasing / property manager is essentially absent and unfocused (previous one was in the building all the time and very helpful). Walls are paper thin. No ventilation in kitchens or bathrooms. Horrible energy efficiency, so electricity bills can be very high.

never want to move out
Former Tenant
Pros:
great management, caring staff, well maintained building - service requests are usually completed within 2-3days
Cons:
high electricity bills because 1. water is heated using individual water heaters in each unit and 2. big windows bad at insulating heat in the winter and traps heat in the summer

great staff; new management took over and they are most stingy
Former Tenant
Pros:
great staff and beautiful units and building
Cons:
most rent stabilized units at market price; they're charging for water/gas now and amentiy fees

Aestheticly nice & great staff - hope you enjoy cold showers
Former Tenant
Pros:
Staff are great, like seriously nice. Amenities are nice Very clean common space
Cons:
Landlord is a jerk, and UDR is a blood sucking corporation. Units aren’t well kept, had poor ventilation issues leading to mold. Water pressure, and hot water situation are abysmal. Hot water cuts out after 10minutes of use in shower. Then you’re left with no hot water for HOURS
Advice to owner:
Learn to treat your tenants with respect, especially ones that you leave without hot water.

Good but not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing staff, friendly neighbors, 10/10 location
Cons:
Outdated interiors, dark hallways with weird design choices, terrible water pressure and frequent hot water shortages or it goes completely out. Not worth the price tag imo.
Advice to owner:
Give your front desk staff a raise & replace your outdated water heaters.

Not all that it seems...
Former Tenant
Pros:
The maintenance team is phenomenal and it’s obvious they’re fighting an uphill battle. There’s bureaucracy that doesn’t allow them to fix certain appliances to the fullest extent, they have to get the manufacturer involved. But still, they are some of the hardest working and most pleasant people I’ve ever met.
Cons:
The luxury front doesn’t make up for broken heaters, grout falling out of the showers/bathrooms, neighbors who use the hallways as daycare, and other annoyances that are just bad enough to make the daily remote work situation slightly unbearable. When I asked about COVID relief plans, the landlord said that until one of the people on the lease loses their job, there is nothing to be done. Now feeling the full impact of a full on pandemic while locked into a lease at a fake luxury building with no usable amenities for way too long...
Advice to owner:
Don’t call an empty room with three leather chairs a “business center” just to entice prospective residents.
