Management company does not take care of the building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious, with uncarpeted floors.
Cons:
Management ignores emails. Garbage takes up a lot of space in the garage. Doors constantly breaking, not ADA accessible. Theft of packages despite installing a door with a lock to the mailroom which is left unlocked. Lots of smoking that stinks up the halls. People leave messes on the roof. Laundry company doesn’t maintain the cleanliness of the machines and there is mold growing in the soap dispensers. Rental listings stated doorman, but there is none. There are now fees to use the “amenities” like roof and lounge.
Advice to owner:
Sell it to someone who actually cares about their property and well being of the tenants.

Decent but it’s lipstick on a pig
Former Tenant
Pros:
• Never had any issues with roaches or any bugs • Great amenities for a pretty affordable price (Rooftop, gym, and lounge) • Spacious studios with a balcony and closet space • Quiet and safe area •Close to transportation (Q, B, and some MTA busses) • Pet Friendly
Cons:
• The rooftop grills are rarely ever cleaned. Residents never clean it after use. • I’ve seen dog feces and pee in the lobby and on the roof top • Lounge pool table is broken • Problems involving building maintenance. The apartment is built poorly (ceiling leaks, floor leaks, walls are unevenly built) • Laundry room machines are a hit or a miss. The machines run through an app and cannot be used otherwise. If the wifi is out you can’t do your laundry. The machines are also very finicky. Sometimes they don’t work. Sometimes they lock your clothes for hours. • The gym is nice but sometimes the machines don’t work or some dumbbells are missing. People don’t put back or clean the equipment after use. • If you need info out of management (I.e. contact info for the landlord) you’re going to have to pry it out of them. They will dance around the subject and not give you a solid answer.
Advice to owner:
Please be more aware of some of the cons I listed. Please inforce people to clean up after themselves. Also please have an alternate way to pay for laundry in case the wifi goes out.
