Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant reviews for 2417 Albemarle Road highlight issues with noise levels, poor management, and unresponsive owners. Pros include new construction, modern amenities, and garbage management. However, concerns involve loud neighbors, unreliable management, and unmet promises regarding rent and maintenance. Some reviewers faced rent increase disputes and pest control problems. Suggestions range from soundproofing to more professional management practices. Overall, despite building qualities like water pressure and cleanliness, the consensus leans towards dissatisfaction due to management and neighbor issues, making it important for potential renters to consider these aspects before moving in.

Reviews

Former tenant·Over 1 year ago

Loud very loud

Pros

New construction, good appliances, mini splits

Cons

Keyed elevator doorway + very loud neighbors means you can hear everyone in the building. Very steep short and narrow drive way cut out will scrape cars with conventional clearance. Surrounding neighbors will light fireworks directly in front of the building and they will explode at the same height as the 9th floor.

Advice to the owners

Insulate and soundproof the doors on each floor

Nice building horrible management

Pros

Private balcony space when you are on the corner apartments Parking garage (but it’s a zoo to park cause no one had assigned parking) (Common patio) Very modern building

Cons

The owner hasn’t paid a lot of people that finished work so majority of the security isn’t really working like no one can get a garage door opener cause the system is encrypted so they have one hanging from a string to improvise so not everyone and their grandmother is just parking everywhere random ppl from the neighborhood as well. They will make promises and never keep them You can tell they struggled so they straight up lied to everyone about rent cost to fill the apartments then when it came to me to pay the started asking for high rent and promising they would reimburse which they haven’t It’s literally a scramble with no organization and it’s pretty annoying we moved into a higher rent space thinking and put under the impression we are moving to a better place and attentive management and that’s not the case it also way some blaming the other person then finally blame you for even bringing it up to their attention it’s wild

Advice to the owners

Do what you promised and pay people their wages and provide a better place for you tenants
