Well-kept and newer building in vibrant Bushwick neighborhood
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Conveniently located by the JMZ Myrtle/Broadway station - Newer building with updated amenities and gym and rooftop access - Close to good restaurants, bars, nightlife - Friendly neighbors
Cons:
- Close enough to subway that you can hear it (windows are noise-cancelling enough though so after a while it becomes white noise) - Units are on the smaller side but good for more minimal living - Apt I lived in had no closets so had to get creative about storage - Had confusing communication periodically with management due to lack of coordination regarding unit repairs, apartment tours, etc.
Advice to owner:
Management was fine overall, though better coordination among staff would be great so that tenants are clear on when certain appointments are! We had a couple surprise apartment tours show up to our home by the end of our stay at this building because we were not properly informed ahead of time. Having a better system for communication regarding similar scenarios would be ideal :)
