Solid Place to Live
Former Tenant
Pros:
This building is clean and safe. Packages are always delivered securely. It’s located near plenty of public transportation so it isn’t difficult to get around Brooklyn, or to Manhattan and Queens. Door people are all very friendly and helpful. Fairly quiet neighbors unlike many places in NYC. Rooftop access with a beautiful view. Management is pretty flexible and willing to work with you on guarantors or needing to stay a few extra months past your lease.
Cons:
You pay top dollar for amenities that you can barely use. There’s a whole game room and movie room that you can’t book for any type of gatherings (small or medium sized), and there’s a cutoff time of 10pm to use them. Also, Bushwick itself isn’t very clean so anytime you go outside, expect there to be trash everywhere. They also failed to upkeep the roof chairs and tables, so the roof isn’t as nice as it used to be. There’s no WiFi on the roof or in the coworking space.
Advice to owner:
Come up with better policies for common areas. Residents should be able to host small, responsibe gatherings.

Great building but horrible noise
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, doormen are kind and helpful, rooms are nice and the price is reasonable considering it’s New York
Cons:
Walls are thin
Advice to owner:
Better insulated windows - one of mine doesn't lock and creaks open throughout the day.

Laundry in building, rooftop, gym, game room, movie theater, business room, and 24 hour personable doorman.

Management treats black tenants differently than white tenants. They like your money but they don’t like you.
Advice to owner:
Be more accessible and have better response times.
