Clean new building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Apartment was clean
Cons:
Windows only in the bedrooms so the common areas felt very dark

Pretty good place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very nice area, everything feels pretty updated and no pests in the building (but lots on the street out front)
Cons:
Management lady is short and often better to just call than to try to email, they raised rent $858 in one year (making the total 3b1b $4500) which felt very over priced
Advice to owner:
Be a bit more responsive

Boerum St
Former Tenant
Pros:
Fairly well maintained building, close to multiple subway lines and grocery stores
Cons:
Only 1 washer/dryer for the entire building which can be an inconvenience. Also a little noisy in the apartment you can hear both outside noises and noise from the neighbors

Good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
I’ve lived in some bad apartments and this wasn’t one of them. Didn’t have the issues that the previous reviewer did (besides laundry). There was somebody who would clean the halls weekly (sweep, mop). Really great area. Access to roof and backyard.
Cons:
Laundry was not great, better in 125 & 127 (connected buildings). Rooms are small for how high rent was.

Horrible management, be aware
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Affordable building within walking distance of Williamsburg and Bushwick.
- Central Heat/ AC
- Newer full sized appliances, equal sized bedrooms good for roommates
- Roof access
-Large Balcony
Cons:
- Building claims to have washer & dryer but it doesn’t function and makes clothes dirtier than they were when you put them in.
- Management is horribly unresponsive. Building had a roach problem and they didn’t believe us until we sent pictures along. Took over a year to resolve.
- Building/ Neighborhood has a theft problem. Packages were constantly stolen and management did nothing.
- Takes months for them to respond to any maintence request even after maintence tickets were filled out, texts and calls were made, etc. We handled most of the repairs ourselves.
Advice to owner:
Listen to your tenants when they complain with any problems or issues…and then fix them. Your building value and tenants will not return if you cannot simply maintain the building to the standards you list in your lease.
